We decided to set out on an excursion to Isla Cerralvo, located about 9 miles off the coast of La Ventana, on Bruce's 33 foot catamaran, Kat Kan Do. It would have to be limited to just an overnighter, since Derek had to be back on the 29^th for his flight back to civilization. The hope was that we would get another chance to get back to the island later, or perhaps even do a multi-day coast trip. But that opportunity didn't present itself, and will have to wait until next year.
