The forecast was for winds in the upper teens at Waddell Creek. So Bret, John, Curt and Michelle,
and I headed down there. Curt was still recovering from a broken ankle he suffered in a kitemare
toward the end of the season at Sherman, so he was relegated to being the photographer for the day.

When we arrived, there was a slight breeze blowing offshore - not a good sign. But the wind finally
came up around 2:30, and we were treated to about an hour and a half of big fun, and bitterly cold riding.
